I grew up in the Seattle area and feel grateful to live in such a beautiful place.

I graduated for the Univ. of WA with a BA degree in history and a teaching certificate. I spent 31 years working in public education. For 26 years I was an elementary school librarian. I live in a lovely town called Lake Forest Park with my wife of 28 years. I have two wonderful, young adult children who live independently.  My desire to assist families "rightsize," grew from the personal experience of helping my parents transition numerous times, and watching my friends and family become empty-nestors. I enjoy hanging out with my family, volunteering with LFP Rotary and my former school, experiencing the outdoors, photography and Sounders soccer.
